Wendy Montoya focuses her practice on public finance and local government law, representing municipal utility districts and other special districts as general counsel and bond counsel. She brings to her practice previous experience in public finance transactions serving as bond counsel for cities, school districts and charter schools and as underwriter’s counsel for investment banking firms. In addition, Wendy has previous experience in serving as general counsel to conduit bond issuers and a municipal management district. Prior to joining Schwartz, Page & Harding, L.L.P. in 2011, Wendy served as a public finance attorney with Vinson & Elkins, L.L.P. in Houston.
Wendy is a native of Houston, Texas and is licensed to practice in Texas.
